What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage) serve comparable purposes. They can be used to make a site work, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, or show relevant advertising.
Categories we use
- Necessary — required for the website and booking platform to function (e.g. keeping you signed in, remembering items in a booking flow, security). These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language, to improve your experience.
- Analytics — help us understand how the site is used, so we can improve it. Example (once connected): Google Analytics.
- Marketing — used to measure and personalise advertising. Examples (once connected): Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Tag Manager-managed tags.
Current status
No analytics or advertising cookie/tracking tool is connected on our website at present. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel are planned but not yet in use. Only necessary, and where applicable functional, cookies are currently set.
Consent
Analytics and marketing cookies are never set before you give consent. When you make a choice, we record which categories you accepted, the time of your choice, the version of this policy you consented to, and a consent identifier, so we can demonstrate compliance and honour your preference on future visits.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings control on our website, which will be available once optional categories are in use.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or be notified before they are set, through their settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the booking platform functions.
Third-party technologies once connected
If and when analytics or marketing tools such as those listed above are connected, we will update this policy in advance to describe the specific technologies used, the data they collect, and how to opt out, and consent will be requested before they are activated.
